you filthy sailor!

i very happily joined the sailor mouth swap a month or so ago because i am a glutton for punishment and when sarah told me about it i just couldn't help myself (if you have been following my blog for a while you know that i love a little dirty quilting/stitching/sewing... ).

so i decided to make a little jane market bag for my partner...  and i have to say, i kept it pretty clean considering that there were a lot of very VERY dirty words flying around this group.  i wanted her to have something that was really for her!  she suggested some words and i had to comply because they were just so funny!  i don't think she follows my blog so i really think this is safe... if not, oh shit!  hope you like it amy! ;)

if you haven't made a jane bag i highly highly recommend it.  it is such an easy pattern and it comes together like a dream!  and at $6.00 for the downloadable pattern, it really is a crime not to try it. i see many many many more in my future.  this is the backside.  i love those lizzy house butterflies so much!
the jane bag for the sailor mouth swap
i also had a little scrap of the herringbone left from the do.Good host swap and i made her a little pinnie filled with crushed walnut shells and another slightly dirty word on the backside... and just for fun, a couple summersville fat quarters.  lovely!
the pile of goodies

i am excited to see what filthiness arrives for me.  i really hope my partner loves this and uses it often.  ;)

p.s.  you have to see what sara made for katy!  hilarious, totally awesome, and super filthy!!!
