i made this little project for a super fun friend but it is still in my possession therefore...
you only get to see a snippet.
and well... i pulled on one of the balls a bit too hard...
(come on, get your mind out of the gutter!)
any ideas how to fix it?
Damn little balls!
ReplyDeletewith some painstakingly tricky stitching and wrapping thread round the joins? Dunno babe, nightmare! Handle balls with care next time ;-)
ReplyDeleteArgh not a clue sorry. Like the trim effect though. Hope you get it fixed!
ReplyDeleteNothing worse than wonky balls... Um, maybe try getting some thread through the ball and down the inside of the cord and joining it back up to the quilt?
ReplyDeleteOh there is so much I could say!!! But I think I better not. Can you take a few stitches out, tuck your ball string back in place and stitch it back up? I tell you - when you read this - it just sounds nasty ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, what Katy said... that's all I can think of too. Haha those balls are blue! :-/
ReplyDeleteeek! can you sew the thread back together, anchoring to the ball and the quilt?
ReplyDeletealso?
balls! balls! balls!
Hilarious! Hmm, I'm not sure what to tell you. Balls can be tricky, but I think the suggestion to try sewing the thread back together may work. Good luck! And way to be adventurous with balls, Nicke. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, you obviously cannot have your balls hanging out all over the place. Perhaps a dab of fabric glue and a few stitches will help keep that wonton ball under control.
ReplyDeleteLance Armstrong is missing one ball and has got along in life just fine. I say goodbye ball! It's just another example of "if it's got balls or tires, it's going to give you trouble."
ReplyDeleteHi! Visiting from Trish's blog! The comments are making me laugh. And you said "balls". And I have no idea how to fix them :) Have a great week!
