stress...

so, i know things have been silent around here...

and i apologize.

i have been busy...

and a bit stressed/worried.

 luckily i have these little ones around to keep me sane.

 we have gone to the pool.

 and enjoyed the sun with gramma and cousins.

(that is them in the background) 

 man i love his sweet face.

 we were happy in the 2ft water.

 but the stress is still there...

i am worried...

 but this little boy is a good distraction.  my gracious, i love him.  he has the sweetest smile but he was not too sure about the water. i love that he is my nephew!

and i have done a little sewing... 

something for a friend to brighten her day.

 and something for the modernista swap...

this pile of blocks has been made into a table runner and will be hand quilted with lots of love.

i love that summer love fabric so much!

i have a trunk show at the library tomorrow, should be fun.

my mom is coming to stay, picking her up tonight.

the low sodium diet is ready.  

i can't wait to spend time with her! 

her angiogram is on friday.

shorts on the line... the ruffled edition...

when rachael posted about shorts on the line starting up i was super excited!  i love to make clothes for my kiddos but i don't do it as often as i should.  when she asked me to join in i just couldn't say no!  

so the basic gist of these shorts is to use it up... make do... reuse... ruffle...  

 see how adorable they are!
